The "chromaccord" was originally an instrument that used colored lights illuminating a translucent screen to create a visual performance. The performer used dimmers to change the combination of multiple lights to change to color in areas of the screen. "Chromaccord" means " colors together". The performance concept involved understanding how the afterimage of a previous color interacts with a new color .

Changing colors can shift color harmonies, or produce neurological responses like after-images. I explore how such effects operate in various arrangements of shapes and timing.
